Strbske pleso

Major centre of tourism and winter sports is 14 kilometres from Podbanke , the highest tourist spa village , located in the High Tatras . It is situated at an altitude of 1,346 m n. m.  The possibility of alpine skiing in the Dream area  - INTERSKI slopes and Solisko ( with a new cable car ) . Then there is the possibility of cross-country skiing after a long routes in the vicinity. Strbske Pleso is a senior sports centre for Nordic disciplines and is the starting point for many attractive summer and winter mountain hiking.

Kriván

Natural dominant upper Liptov . It is one of the highest mountains of Slovakia , measured 2494.7 m. From 19 century is the unofficial symbol of Slovakia . Štúr family took several outputs . Today is also embossed on the Slovak euro coins. Climb to the top takes about 4 and a half hours from Podbanske.

Jasna

Low Tatras tourist centre just 30 km away. It offers a number of attractions, in the winter  from skiing and cross-country skiing to the winter and summer tours hiking tours , events and various events .

Museum Liptov Pribylina

To the construction of the dam flooded Liptovska Mara . Dominating the area is the Gothic Church of Our Lady Mary of Liptov .

Aquapark Tatralandia

The largest year-round water fun area in Slovakia - water slides, spa , swimming pools . It is located in Liptovsky towards Liptovsky Trnovec . (25 km)
